Battlefield 2 EAX
hi i'm running vista64 and a xfi titanium champion thingy now, i'll use a little example to explain my issue: 1) shooting a mg. 4 rounds, reverb is perfectly fine 2) shooting a mg. 5 rounds, reverb is cut off after playing half 3) shooting a mg. 6 rounds, reverb effect isn't there anymore i already updated the openal.dll files and tried replacing the one in the bf2 directory as suggested on multiple forums it's really annoying and distracting, i'd be glad if someone could help me fix this thx in advance

What audio settings have you selected in the game?  Does the problem occur on all OpenAL devices - or just the native X-Fi device?

If you don't select Creative X-Fi then the game will use the (basic) OpenAL software mixer device.   It won't sound as good - but it would be interesting to know if the problem still occurs.

alright, my fault sorry both software and hardware modes work w/o problems, the issue is exclusively for the creative xfi setting
