Audigy
Hi, will there be compatibility with the Audigy SE Sound Card?

I believe the Audigy SE should be supported.  To confirm support for your soundcard can you please run DXDiag (DirectX Diagnostics Tool), select the Sound Tab, and tell me what is written under "Name", "Device ID", and "Product ID"?

Thanks,

Thanks for the information.  That device ID is a SB Audigy host-based card and is supported by ALchemy for Audigy.  (I'm not sure why it says SB Live! 24bit on XP though!).

Some more information...

Hi i just opened up my PC and got the model number from my sound card SB0570. I typed this into this site: http://193.95.171.84/SRVS/CGI-BIN/WEBCGI.EXE/,/?St=366,E=0000000000313104898,K=6395,Sxi=17,VARSET=ws:http://us.creative.com,case=46261

This told me i had a Sound Blaster Audigy SE which is not on the list of supported audigy sound cards.

Do you have the latest version of ALchemy for Audigy (filename is ALAD_PCVTAPP_LB_1_00_35.exe)?

If you have multiple soundcards installed can you please make sure that the Audigy card is set to the "preferred playback device" before running the installer?

Can you tell me the exact error message you see when running the installer?

Thanks,

Dan
